FAQ means “Frequently Asked Questions”

  1. Why “Witchy”? Well, my real name is “Samantha” and when I first got online back in 1995, I had to pick a username. I had heard not to use my real name, so I chose “Bewitched” as my username (the TV show about a witch named “Samantha”). My online friends shortened it “Witchy” and I have been Witchy ever since. Even when I meet or talk with them in real life (not on the computer), they call me Witchy and I answer to it just as easily as I do my own name. Nowadays, I prefer my online friends to call me Witchy. It is like a special nickname for special friends.
  2. Are you a computer/technology/internet expert? No, I’m just someone who learned by trial and error who’s willing to share what works with you.
  3. What if you don’t know the answer to our question? Actually, the more technical the question, the less likely I am to know the answer. This forum and site is JUST for the basics. But I love to look stuff up. I will gladly help you find the answer!
